Cruelty-Free Business Commitment
I grew up with a deep love for animals and an innate talent for art. In 2013 I became vegan and it completely shifted my focus in life and in business. Naturally, a cruelty-free and environmentally conscious mindset has influenced the business tremendously. My mission is to use my expertise to help elevate brands and organizations that have a similar ethos.
Bonfilio Design adheres to a principle of ethical treatment towards animals and supports cruelty-free businesses and organizations. I believe that animals should not be harmed or subjected to unnecessary suffering for human purposes. I respectfully decline projects with companies who test on or use animals in the products or services. This policy reflects my philosophy and is a conscious effort to contribute to a more compassionate and sustainable world.
This video was created to promote National Animal Rights Day. It features my illustrations of animals, intricately crafted from graphic ornaments traditionally used in book design. The concept behind incorporating these classic ornaments is a thoughtful nod to the past, serving as a reminder that understanding and reflecting on history is essential as we strive to move forward in the fight for animal rights. By blending historical design elements with contemporary advocacy, we celebrate progress while honoring the journey that has brought us to this pivotal moment.
