Greener By Default | Corporate Identity Design

Greener By Default is a nonprofit organization that empowers businesses, universities, conferences, healthcare institutions, and restaurants to serve plant-based food by default – giving diners the choice to opt in to meat and dairy. They do this by applying behavioral economics research to food policy so that these institutions can meet carbon reduction goals, save on food costs, improve health, and serve inclusive, sustainable food.

The concept behind this corporate identity uses the pointy end of a leaf to represent an arrow forging ahead, it symbolizing the plant-forward mission of this organization. They liked the acronym focused version as well as the spelled out version and they also like having the option to use whichever one suited the materials best. I also designed and produced GUIDELINES for using their new logo, fonts and color palette.
