WORK: LOGOS / IDENTITIES
The Parasympathetic Life | Logo Design
Elizabeth DelaBarre is a practitioner of Fajardo Method of Holistic Biomechanics (FMHB). Although trained as a manual therapist and yoga teacher, she has found FMHB to be the first system to induce a Parasympathetic state and create movement patterns that support that state. FMHB uses observation of locations of our structure along with simple movements to create body maps that inform the nervous system about its place in the environment. Doing so helps us move out of chronic fight or flight states and provide resilience to emotional and physical stress by developing bodily tensegrity and adaptability.
Elizabeth wanted to convey the idea of building this tensegrity in the body through depicting the growing stages of a flower since tensegrity is the structure of every living organism. Once the logo was finalized we moved on to create a simple Squarespace website and I provided her with guidance to make edits and maintain it herself.
“I love my logo and website from Bonfilio Design! When prospective clients see the site or business card, they remark on how beautiful they are and how well they represent me and the work I do. Delia made the co-creative process fun and efficient, and best of all, gave me the tools I need so I can be self-sufficient in editing and managing the site myself.
The site and logo definitely make a positive, unique impact on the viewer and convey the experience of what a Parasympathetic Life session can offer. I couldn't be more pleased with the results.” – Elizabeth DelaBarre
