Godiva Chocolatier | Valentine’s Day Package Design

I developed the packaging graphics for Godiva’s Valentine’s Day Collection and was challenged to uniquely communicate an expression of love through gifting this box of chocolates. My solution illustrates a colorful bouquet of roses with its petals made of layered asymmetrical heart shapes that emulate blooming roses. The background is a type treatment that expresses some terms of endearment in a few different languages to appeal to their global audience. 

As with all of their packaging, the special print techniques elevated the design to reflect their brand. The outline of each petal was embossed, the background type treatment was blind embossed, and the outline of each rose was foil stamped with Godiva’s signature gold.
