I had the privilege of designing the album cover and packaging for ABKCO Music & Records and Sam Cooke: Portrait of a Legend 1951-1964, a collection celebrating the timeless music of one of the greatest voices in soul. The design captures the elegance and emotion of Sam Cooke’s legacy. I utilized a clean, modern layout with striking blues and grayscale photography, highlighting iconic images of Cooke to evoke both nostalgia and timelessness. The typography was selected to emphasize the importance of the era, while the interior layout complements the music with a sleek, sophisticated presentation.

The CD and booklet incorporate classic photography, including intimate moments of Sam Cooke, paired with a tracklist that reflects the breadth of his groundbreaking work. This packaging was designed to honor the legendary musician while creating a collectible, visually engaging experience for fans.
