For Sam Cooke at the Copa, an iconic live recording at the Copacabana in New York City, I designed the album cover and CD packaging in collaboration with Abkco Music & Records. The design captures the magic of Cooke’s legendary performance in one of the most famous nightclubs of its era.

Drawing inspiration from the vibrant nightlife and classic showbiz elements of the 1960s, I used rich pinks and yellow, along with images of Sam Cooke mid-performance, to highlight the energy and charisma that made this show unforgettable. The cover features Sam Cooke under the spotlight, evoking the intimacy and star power of his live performance, while the interior showcases more dynamic photos of the event, paired with playful illustrations of the venue.

This packaging was crafted to not only capture the spirit of that historic evening but also provide a visually immersive experience for fans, allowing them to feel the excitement of being in the audience that night at the Copa.
